Radon Mitigation

The pandemic has resulted in many of us spending more time in our homes. Have you considered the current air quality in your home and its significant contributing factors to your health? While the government and employers may have taken steps to protect health and reduce Radon gas exposure at the workplace (including our clients such as Amazon), it is up to you to assess and reduce exposure levels in your home!

Alberta has some of the highest Radon levels in the country and world over. Radon is the leading cause for lung cancer only second to smoking. With similar results to quitting smoking, you can effectively eliminate your Radon exposure by installing a Radon Mitigation system. That’s the best part, the negative health effects as a result of Radon gas accumulating in your home, are entirely preventable. You can be a steward for your own health and promote a safe environment wherever you spend time.

Now is the time to test! As we approach the winter months Radon levels increase and capturing these levels over this period (minimum of 3 months) will give the best indication if you have an exposure concern. Proper testing can also provide a certain assurance and relief when resulting in low level readings. With experience in identifying health hazards for over a decade, our health and safety specialist and C-NRPP Certified professionals will gladly help address your Radon concerns
