Soil

Vegetation is not grown in the dirt but instead in soil. For sustainable vegetation growth, nutrient cycling is necessary. Nutrient cycling requires both organic matter and soil biota. Unfortunately, many projects fail due to deficiencies not addressed at the outset because soil specifications were not included in the project plans. Understanding soil characteristics, potential erosion problems, soil preparation, and appropriate seed selection can save time and money. Trying to cut corners repeatedly is not cost-effective and can result in expensive fines, loss of revenue, and negative publicity.

CEC can arrange products that we offer in a Lunch and Learn that covers a range of topics, #testing including selecting the proper erosion control materials, the significance of soil testing, eco-friendly alternatives to hard armour, and the cost savings and agronomic benefits of using Engineered Soil Amendments instead of topsoil and compost.

Please get in touch with me or any of my colleagues at CEC to discuss your next project requirements, arrange a demonstration, or schedule a Lunch and Learn session. #growth #money #sustainable #projects #project #cec2023
